Upgrades and Improvements to 3011

Since 2022, over $300,000 worth of improvements, upgrades & renovations have been made to this home and property... most within the past 20 months.

 

Here is a list of some of them:

  • Backup power Generator (for the electricity outages in this area)

  • Upgrade to 200-amp electrical system

  • New water pump and treatment equipment (for our private water system) in two outside sheds

  • Two stairlifts, one outside and one inside​ of the house

  • House painting (entire outside + all of the lower floor inside)

  • New roof over oldest part of house

  • Improvements to fascia boards, soffits and gutters

  • Power-washing of roof and cleaning of gutters (May 2026)

  • New roof over front porch steps (at main entrance)

  • New front porch steps

  • Deck replacement on second floor

  • Improvements to outside stairway (west side of house)

  • New storage shed built behind the house (north side of building)

  • New "ensuite" bathroom, with heated floor and walk-in steam shower

  • Full renovation of smaller bathroom

  • Finishing of stairwell, bedrooms, and front room (closest to street)

  • New doors to all first floor rooms, plus new main door and three screen doors to outside

  • Insulation of crawl space and heating ducts under house

  • New baseboards throughout most of house

  • New fridge

  • New hot water tank

  • New lights in many parts of house

  • New blinds and drapes on windows

  • New baseboard heaters in both water-system sheds

  • Rebuild of water pump shed (lower section)

  • Access path cut to back of property

    ...plus many other upgrades and repairs.
